There are a number of funding programs available to help families traveling for medical care.   Each program has different eligibility criteria and limitations.  Flights may be made through major commercial airlines using donated frequent flier miles or are offered by volunteers on private small aircraft.  These organizations provide an option for families to help offset the cost to obtain medical care.
