There are many wonderful organizations dedicated to granting wishes for families living with a catastrophic diagnosis. Below are links to various groups that provide such services.

  • AngelWish
    Angelwish.org was created in 1999 with the mission to provide the public with an easy way to grant wishes to the millions of children that are living with chronic illnesses around the world.
  • Casey Cares
    Case Cares provides wishes to children under 18 who are patients at such hospitals throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and parts of the Midwest such as Johns Hopkins, Children’s National, Nationwide Children’s, Georgetown University, University of Maryland Hospital for Children, Sinai Children’s Hospital, Cincinnati Children’s, Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania (CHOP), Hershey Medical Center, Nemours/Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, as well as many community hospices.
  • Cherished Creations
    Wish requests include diversionary activities and gifts for seriously ill children up to the age of 21. Special requests address essential, practical needs of seriously ill children up to the age of 21.
  • Do It For The Love
    Do It For The Love is a wish-granting nonprofit organization that brings people living with life-threatening illnesses, children with severe challenges and wounded veterans to live concerts. Through the healing power of music, our goal is to inspire joy, hope and lasting celebratory memories in the face of severe illness or trauma. 
  • Dream Factory
    The Dream Factory is the largest children’s wish-granting organization that does not limit its mission to children who have life-threatening illness. “We grant dreams to critically and chronically ill children from the ages of three through eighteen.”
  • Dream Foundation
    Dream Foundation serves terminally-ill adults and their families by providing end-of-life Dreams that offer inspiration, comfort and closure.
  • Grant Angel Wishes and Travel,
    Grant Angel Wishes and Travel grants a travel wish to individuals ages 3-75 who have a terminal condition, with a 12 month or less diagnosed prognosis.
  • Hope Kids
    Hope Kids provides ongoing events, activities and a powerful, unique support community for families who have a child with cancer or some other life-­threatening medical condition.
  • Jason’s Dream for Kids
    Jason’s Dreams for Kids, Inc. fulfills the wishes of children diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses through a variety of fundraising events as well as individual and corporate donations.
  • Kids Wish Network
    “Kids Wish Network has been making dreams come true for hundreds of thousands of children all over the world since 1997. We are dedicated to infusing hope, creating happy memories, and improving the quality of life for children who are experiencing life-altering situations.”
  • Magic Wheelchair
    Magic Wheelchair is a nonprofit organization that builds epic costumes for kiddos in wheelchairs — at no cost to families.
  • Make-A-Wish
    “We grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.”
  • The Marty Lyons Foundation
    The Marty Lyons Foundation (MLF) was established in 1982 to fulfill the special wishes of children, ages three (3) to seventeen (17) years old, who have been diagnosed as having a terminal or life-threatening illness by providing and arranging special wish requests. We are unique in that we will grant a second wish to a deserving child.
  • Merlin’s Magic Wand
    Charity that arranges “magical days out” for seriously ill, disabled, and disadvantaged children
  • Project Angel Fares
    Project Angel Fares serves to provide all travel expenses paid trips to Morgan’s Wonderland, the world’s first ultra-accessible theme park, where anyone can play! We give trips of a lifetime, and you can too.  If you share the Project Angel Fares vision, then please consider making a gift today.
  • Special Spaces
    Special Spaces creates dream bedrooms for children with life-threatening medical illnesses. This is a place that only the child can dream or imagine while addressing their medical needs. See their website for State Chapters.
  • Special Spectators
    Special Spectators provides VIP sports experiences for critically ill children and their families
  • A Special Wish
    A Special Wish Foundation, Inc., is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to granting the wishes of children under the age of 21 and diagnosed as having a life-threatening disorder.
  • Sunshine Foundation:
    Sunshine Foundation’s sole purpose is to answer the dreams of chronically ill, seriously ill, physically challenged and abused children ages three to eighteen, whose families cannot fulfill their requests due to financial strain that the child’s illness may cause.
  • Two Angels Foundation
    The Two Angels Foundation will help purchase adaptive equipment for home and school
