How should I build my medical care team?

It’s very important for dystrophinopathy carriers to build a supportive care team. This may include, but is not limited to: a neuromuscular specialist, cardiologist, genetic counselor, and a psychologist or psychiatrist. To help connect carriers with appropriate expertise, PPMD has compiled a nationwide list of specialists with experience in carrier care.
