Duchenne Awareness Day

On September 7, 2016 the third World Duchenne Awareness Day will take place. The 7th day of the 9th month has been chosen to represent the 79 exons in the dystrophin gene. Duchenne charities around the world will raise awareness for children and young adults living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

How to Get Involved

  • Share your story. 
    Join the global Duchenne community's effort to raise awareness by sharing your story! Upload a photo encompassing what World Duchenne Awareness Day means to you on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. and in the description share the reason why you fight to end Duchenne. Make sure to include the hashtags #WDAD16 and #EndDuchenne!
