On August 18th, the 20th Annual Mitchell’s Run Thru Rockford raised an incredible $85,000 to help our fight to end Duchenne. This was the most successful event to date!
Thank you to Steve, Sandy, Halle, Mitch, & Mike Peterson, your volunteers, sponsors and everyone who has come to support you your fight to end Duchenne these past 20 years!
The Peterson Family sent the following message to their supporters:
“As I scroll through the pictures of race day, I’m struck by all the people who have participated in this race, collectively, trying to fight this disease. All race, gender, age. It’s humbling to see. This disease crosses all lines, has no boundaries. We, along with all families and boys struggling with Duchenne, thank you for giving up your Saturdays for the past 20 years and helping us raise over $1,000,000 towards the end. We will find a cure. It’s out there~just bubbling up to the surface. It’s coming our way and we stand together waiting to take its hand.
