PPMD recently hosted a webinar featuring Dr. Jon Soslow, Dr. Ramona Belfiore-Oshan, and Dr. Chet Villa to discuss two newly funded U.S. Department of Defense research projects focused on advancing our understanding of Duchenne-related heart disease. The experts explored how these complementary projects aim to better understand cardiac disease progression, improve data and outcome measures, and support future clinical care, clinical trials, and regulatory decision-making. The conversation also highlighted the importance of continued research investment and advocacy to improve cardiac outcomes for everyone living with Duchenne.
