In April 2025, Indiana’s Perinatal Genetics and Genomics Advisory Committee voted to recommend Duchenne to the state’s newborn screening panel. Our advocacy efforts are currently focused on supporting the review of this recommendation by the state’s Health Commissioner, which is the next step in the approval process.
