Hayes Mechanical Golf Outing Raises Over $130,000 in the Fight to End Duchenne

On June 19, 240 golfers and volunteers came out for the annual Hayes Mechanical Golf Outing in memory of Patrick and Bobby Chilcutt at the Harborside Golf Course in Chicago. The outing is a corporate golfing event that is held every year.

For the past 10 years, Hayes Mechanical has chosen a charity to be the recipient of their annual golf outing. This year, George Englebrecht, former President, chose PPMD to be their charity of choice in memory of Pat & Bobby Chilcutt.

George has known the Chilcutt family for quite some time. In fact, his wife and Virginia Chilcutt (Pat and Bobby’s mother), have been best friends since first grade and Virginia was the Maid of Honor at their wedding!

This wildly successful event provides a great example of the incredible impact your friends can make in the fight to end Duchenne.

Thank you so much to George, the Hayes Mechanical team, and all of the sponsors and golfers that raised crucial funds in the fight to end Duchenne.
