    Waymaker loans track style offroad wheelchairs to those with a mobility impairment without charge.  Wheelchairs are available to pick up at their Hartsville location.  Visit their website for more details and for reservations.  Delivery within 100 miles of Hartsville, SC can be arranged if needed and includes North Carolina.

  • Partners for Health Children (PHC) Children’s Health Insurance Program
    PHC provides health insurance for eligible children under age 19 based on family size and income.

  • Katie Beckett Medicaid Waiver program
    This program provides health insurance to eligible children under age 19 who have a disability that meets the Social Security Administration definition and meet Nursing Facility or Hospital Level of Care criteria.   The cost of providing care must not exceed the estimated cost of care provided in an institution and the child’s income and resources are considered for eligibility.

  • Aged, Blind and Disabled (ABD) Medicaid
    The ABD program provides Medicaid health insurance to eligible individuals who have disabilities based in income and resources.

  • Health Insurance Premium Payment (HIPP)
    The HIPP program is a South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SDHHS) cost containment initiative, which maintains premium payments for eligible Medicaid beneficiaries who retain their private health insurance.  Through this initiative, eligible Medicaid beneficiaries who satisfy HIPP program requirements may qualify for monthly reimbursements for health insurance premiums that they have paid for themselves and/or their eligible dependents.
