This state is RUSP aligned: Mississippi has a law that requires the state newborn screening program to include all conditions on the federal Recommended Uniform Screening Panel (RUSP). Duchenne is on the RUSP, and Mississippi’s law requires that all newborns are screened for Duchenne by December 16, 2028.
