1- Early PhaseEarly Phase (Diagnosis to about age 7)
Young children are usually still getting around well, but many are behind on their motor milestones.

2- Transitional PhaseTransitional Phase (about ages 6-9)
Children are usually having trouble keeping up and get tired easily.

3- Loss of AmbulationLoss of Ambulation (about ages 10-14)
Older children/teens move into a wheelchair and usually need more help.
