Grandparent Support

Grandparents play an important and unique role in the lives of their loved ones affected by Duchenne or Becker. However, it can be hard sometimes to know exactly how and where you can support your family. PPMD is here to provide grandparents (and extended family members) with support, information, community and ways to take meaningful action. 

Monthly Virtual Grandparents Meetings

PPMD hosts virtual meetings for grandparents (and extended family members) 6-8 times per year. This group provides information, community, and connection with others who understand and share in what you and your family are going through. To join our Grandparents Group, email nicole@parentprojectmd.org to be added to our email list about upcoming meetings.

If you prefer one-on-one connection with others, schedule a time to meet with PPMD here and we can connect you with individual support.
