Hello Friends & Family!

Wow -it's finally here!...Today I will be running in the Philadelphia Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon! I am joining Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy's "RUN FOR OUR SONS" team to help raise funds and awareness for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). I am running this race for my nephew, Michael James Gaglianone, who has DMD.

In case this is new to you, DMD is a progressive muscle wasting genetic disorder which slowly robs those diagnosed of their ability to walk, their ability to hug the ones they love, takes their independence and eventually takes their life. It is the most common, lethal genetic disorder of childhood. Sadly most will lose the battle with DMD in their early twenties. Currently there is no cure. Michael is now 17 -your help is needed now more than ever!
