Q: What happens if I don’t reach my fundraising minimum? A: We are so excited to have you on our team and we want to provide you with every possible fundraising tool to help you meet the minimums we have set for each event. However, if you do not reach your minimum, we will have to pull your bib from the race and you will not be able to participate in the marathon. Before a teammate reaches this point, we do our best to contact the runner and see what challenges they are running into with their fundraising. Sometimes it becomes easier for runner to make a personal donation to their page to remedy the situation. This allows the runner to still participate in the race. As much as we don’t like to have to enforce these rules, we are obligated to do so in order to maintain our outstanding ratings with charity watchdog organizations and to continue to participate in some of the country’s most elite and prestigious endurance events. So please call on our staff – we are here to help! |
