Your actions make an end to Duchenne possible

In the race to end Duchenne, the one thing we don’t have is time. That’s why we need you to be as active as you can in our community. Whatever you can do—whether it's writing to your representative or taking a survey or running a race or connecting to other families through our FACES group—will make a big difference.

Here are some ideas of small actions you can take that will make even more incredible things possible in 2013:

Connect with the Community

• Follow Duchenne updates – follow PPMD’s Twitter feed
• “Like” PPMD’s Facebook Page
• Join the Community site
• Attend a FACES group meeting
• Become a Parent Mentor for a newly diagnosed family

Become an Advocate

• Sign up for Action Alerts
• Join PPMD in Washington, DC

Improve Care

• Update your profile on DuchenneConnect
• Complete a survey about your clinic

Raise Funds

• Shop Amazon – visit ShopForOurSons.org
• Join STIR – PPMD’s monthly giving campaign with a small gift
• Participate in a Run For Our Sons race
• Host a Fundraising Event
• Recruit someone to run in a Run For Our Sons race
