Annual Connect Conference & Meetings
Connecting passion, promise and people in the fight to end Duchenne. An educational series presented by PPMDParent Project Muscular Dystrophy is extremely proud to present our educational series, the Connect Conference and Meetings. Each year nearly 500 families from around the world gather at our Connect Conference to learn the latest progress in the fight to end Duchenne. They also gather for support, strength, and camaraderie. This is your opportunity to gain direct access to the people fighting everyday for children like yours and perhaps, most importantly, it is your opportunity to meet and reunite with families on a similar journey as you. There is incredible power and strength in connecting. We hope you will join us at one or all three of these meetings in 2013. The History of ConnectThe Annual Connect Conference started almost two decades ago as a small group of parents gathering to discuss current Duchenne topics and has evolved into the largest, most comprehensive annual, international conference focused entirely on Duchenne muscular dystrophy. This year, we have expanded Connect, to include a West Coast Meeting this Spring in San Diego. Our meetings are an opportunity for families, physicians, researchers, and experts of all kind, to speak face-to-face about Duchenne. These meetings open communication channels, lay the groundwork for future collaborations, and shape our understanding of the Duchenne landscape. Past Conference Presentations
